This month the Australian & New Zealand Counter Terrorism Committee released the Escape. Hide. Tell Community Information Kit.
This kit, available in 19 languages, encourages all Australians to familiarise themselves with the Escape. Hide. Tell principles in the unlikely event they encounter an attacker armed with a gun, knife, or similar weapon.
Although we live in a safe country, we are still at risk from terrorist attacks. In the event of an attack, your actions matter and every second of hesitation elevates your risk of harm.
You need to remember three words: ESCAPE. HIDE. TELL.
You can access the Community Information Kit and watch the new animated video using the link below.
For further information or additional Escape. Hide. Tell materials, please visit What to do in an attack or contact JR Security Services.
